Vergara served as Director of Business Development for Pay Quik, which was acquired by Citigroup and provides electronic payments solutions for U. (brokerage and investment banking arm of Banco Santander Central Hispano), and CIBC World Markets (formerly known as Oppenheimer & Co., Inc.) in private equity, investment banking and advisory, and high yield/distressed debt trading capacities. Vergara received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a recipient of the coveted Howard E. Responsibilities include management of all due diligence operations, collateral document delivery, servicing transfers, interim servicing oversight, remittance reconciliations and post-closing rep and warrant contract management.
While at Mission Capital, he has transacted over $20 billion in U. and international mortgage loan and REO portfolio sales and valued approximately $300 billion in mortgage loan portfolios on behalf of public and private financial institutions and governmental clients such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY), FDIC, and Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBs). Vergara has extensive experience in the mortgage industry sourcing and trading portfolios of performing and non-performing residential and commercial mortgage whole loans and REO assets.
Portfolios comprise seasoned performing, scratch-and-dent, and other distressed assets of varying credit categories (prime, Alt-A, subprime), mortgage types (fixed rate, adjustable rate, first and second liens), and collateral types. He also previously worked at Tower Hill Capital Group (THCG), Inc., Santander Investment Securities Inc. Ray Ralph is Managing Director of Operations with Mission Capital and has extensive experience in various areas of the residential mortgage industry including loan servicing, risk management, retail and wholesale originations, underwriting and due diligence for performing, sub- and non-performing assets. Ralph joined Mission Capital's Transaction Team in 2002 to manage the whole loan sale operations.
Prior to joining Mission Capital, Jordan served as Managing Director at The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group LLC, a New York Real Estate Capital Advisory Firm which he joined in 2002. Will Sledge is a Managing Director of Sales and Trading, where he oversees business development and project management for the Commercial Asset Sales Group.
Jordan graduated from New York University's real estate institute with a master's degree in real estate finance and investment and from American University with a B. His team's responsibilities include the sourcing and sale of REO, commercial, C&I and residential loans as well as equipment lease and finance business. Sledge has originated and closed billions of dollars of commercial, residential, C&I, and equipment lease and loan sales. Sledge represents banks, special servicers, private equity funds and other financial institutions nation-wide. Sledge also originates debt placement mandates on behalf of Mission's Debt and Equity Finance Group. Bostic is the Managing Director of Residentail Sales & Trading for Mission and has over 25 years of marketing, mortgage trading, risk management and operational management experience working for major financial firms and investment banks, including Credit Suisse, DLJ, Bayview Financial, Ocwen Financial, and Prudential Home Mortgage.
Jordan sits on the board and co founded Equity Multiple - an online marketplace real estate finance company - in 2015.
Jordan is also actively involved in UK/European real estate financing.Prior to joining Mission Capital, Jonathan worked on the execution and originations teams for Ackman-Ziff, specializing in financing office, retail and residential properties, as well as loan sale advisory work.At Ackman-Ziff, Jonathan structured and completed .0 billion of closed debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, joint venture equity and loan sale transactions. in Economics from the University of Michigan, and an M. A from Columbia Business School, where he placed first overall in the Bodini Competition for Real Estate Investment & Entrepreneurship.Stephen Emery is a Managing Director of Sales & Trading with Mission. Emery joined Mission at inception of the firm in June of 2002, and throughout his tenure has managed and closed in excess billion of commercial & residential real estate loan sales on behalf of clients including Bank of Montreal, Bank of the West, Bank of America, Keybank, Zions National Bank, Lone Star Funds, LNR Partners, ORIX Capital Markets, First Bank Puerto Rico and numerous others. Emery has been responsible for the ongoing corporate development and oversight of Mission's various technology related initiatives including the Mission Market web-based asset-trading platform. Emery was with Banc of America Securities, LLC, where he worked in the Retail and Consumer Investment Banking Group. Emery was involved in transactions raising capital in excess of 0 million for clients including Nordstrom Department Stores and Brinker International. Emery received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with an emphasis on Finance and Economics and studied Real Estate Finance at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.Ari Hirt is a Managing Director in The Debt & Equity Finance Group at Mission where he oversees the firm's placement and execution efforts for commercial real estate developers, owners and investors nationwide.Prior to Ackman-Ziff, Jonathan worked in leasing and investment sales for the Manhattan office of CBRE Group.
